Very scenic and has a beautiful view as its located not far from the moon. It has a limited parking spaces though so it gets congested very quickly specially on holidays and weekends.
Very clean. Nice people that work there. Also on the way to the Grundy County Auction. I would recommend going down and find something you just had to have. Say hello to John Michael if he is there....
Clean area and pretty views. Vending machines in separate building. No change machine. No coffee.
This rest stop is a great place to get a little sleep before traveling on. Use their restrooms or get a drink and a snack, for the road, from their machines. Or, brought your own(?), use their picnic tables and areas, under beautiful scenery, to regain your composure for the drive ahead. Very Well lit for night stops and someone is usually there. Safe travels to all.
Clean and well maintained rest stop. Could stand to have a bit of updating, but overall very safe place to stop.
